This full-time role is ideal for an individual proficient in electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, boilers, and general maintenance tasks. The candidate should be capable of working independently and adapting to shifting priorities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who has proven experience in maintaining positive resident relations, supervising maintenance personnel, and effectively organizing both maintenance and administrative responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with a diverse range of employees, site staff, residents, vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Proficiency in computer applications is required, along with the ability to learn and utilize various software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, ADP, Real Page, and ePMX. A service-oriented mindset and pride in one’s work are essential attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Time, Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Collaborate with management on budgetary matters and operational plans.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement in partnership with management.
  • Engage with site managers daily to discuss and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Share on-call duties for emergency situations with team members.
  • Assist management in coordinating contracts and supervising contractor activities.
  • Address daily emergency and routine service requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the site remains tidy by regularly collecting and disposing of refuse from common areas.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules as per site requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Work overtime as necessary for snow removal and on-call duties.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhering to company uniform standards.
  • Exhibit courtesy and respect towards residents at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Timely access to the site for emergency responses.
  • Basic computer skills to navigate First Realty software programs.
  • Ability to interpret product instructions and safety documentation.
  • Competence in accurately completing work orders.
  • Effective communication skills with site staff and residents.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Safe operation of power tools, including saws and drills.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination prior to starting work.
