This position is responsible for customer service, receptionist, and account processing activities. LP is a local propane distributor servicing residential and commercial customers in South Eastern Idaho. LP has been in business since 1992 and delivers tanks ranging from 100 to 60,000 gallons. The Customer Service Representative will primarily be focused on: Receive and process propane orders via phone or walk-ins. Relay propane orders to drivers. Collect and enter propane payments for phone and walk-in customers. Assist customers with billing and account questions. Update and correct customer information and account information. Ensure all additional charges listed on the delivery ticket are included on bill. Enter all tickets for tank sets and verify that they are correct. Enter needed information into system to ensure accurate inventory tracking. Monitor account payment status and contact customers that are overdue to arrange payment. Oversee the processing of customers credit cards who have authorized automatic payments and ensure proper and timely payment. Oversee the processing of Level Pay customers accounts and ensure proper and timely payment. Collect, enter, and process new customers information and paperwork. Manage the billing and collection of the tank rental process. Process the monthly statements and adjust accounts and charges as is required. Receive and direct visitors and inbound phone calls to correct individuals in the office. The preferred candidate for the Customer Service Representative will have the following: Three or more years experience in office management, customer service, accounting, or a related area. Strong customer service skills. Strong computer skills and sound understanding of Office. Able to learn company systems and processes. Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
