Electrical Project Manager

Our client is a global leading general contractor with a prominent presence in New Jersey. They are working with some of the top pharmaceutical companies in the US supporting their complex construction needs. They are looking to bring in a highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to support their ongoing pharmaceutical construction projects in Central New Jersey.
Responsibilities (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Prepare quantity take-offs of electrical and low voltage systems
  • Prepare detailed estimates including assigning material and labor values to take-offs
  • Acquire vendor pricing on specialty materials, equipment and systems
  • Evaluate and assist with subcontractor and vendor scope and pricing review
  • Participate and coordinate in project kick-off and turn-over meetings
  • Provide leadership, training and motivation to estimating staff
  • Provide accurate monitoring of department employees performance by having higher level of interaction on a day-to-day basis
  • Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs
  • Be responsible for talking to executive management to have conversations on whether or not to bid on something
  • Work with other execs to complete proposals and estimates
  • Get quotes for vendors, look at pricing for lighting fixtures
