Staff Accountant Requirements:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of P&L
  • Recent experience with Sage Inacct within the last 2 years
  • Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (highly preferred, but experience can be considered over a degree)
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ledger tasks including month-end close and journal entries
  • Execute full-cycle accounting processes
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and manage purchase orders
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Process approximately 100 invoices per day
  • Utilize Sage Inacct and Excel for various accounting tasks
