JOB SUMMARY
At SYNEO, our objective is to develop excellence in automation, machine design, material handling, and custom tooling. Each position contributes to the success of the company through accountability, responsiveness, and a solutions-oriented mindset. The Staff Accountant will provide accounting for multiple specified manufacturing locations. Accounting services will include compiling and preparing the manufacturing location’s financial reports as well as processing payroll, tax in QuickBooks and related items for the location.
JOB DUTIES
Essential Job Functions:
The Staff Accountant will provide reliable and timely support in the following functions:
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Process expense reports
  • Perform month-end close procedures
  • Enter data, maintain records and prepare and distribute reports and financial statements from QuickBooks and Great Plains
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and maintain collections and payables
  • Perform general accounting reconciliations
