Description

SUMMARY: The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Retail Support Manager and retail employees regarding reporting, auditing, processes and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support branch staff - phone and email post training in all areas of the retail branch
  • Serve as a point of contact for all referral questions from branch personnel
  • Serve as secondary review of cash Items, file maintenance for address changes and Teller cash reports daily.
  • Maintain documents on Farmers Forum for Retail Support
  • Serve as a secondary source of knowledge and guidance to all retail branch personnel for all branch operational issues ranging from product knowledge to explaining how to process transactions on bank systems
  • Processes branch cash orders through Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and assists with Cash Vault orders
  • Assist retail branch staff in the research and resolution of branch outages/losses
  • Assist branch personnel on various operational tasks or procedures
  • Work with Retail Support Coordinator and Manager on projects, as well as Bank mergers and acquisitions.
  • When necessary, work with the Training department to ensure all Retail Training documents are updated with new, updated policies and procedures
  • Serve as the primary back-up to the Retail Support Coordinator
  • Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
  • Other duties as necessary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
  • Proven ability to routinely use Microsoft Word and Excel for report tracking and creation
  • Proven ability to take manual reporting tasks and building automated reports
  • Strong knowledge of retail branch processes and procedures
  • Minimum of three (3) years retail banking experience (teller and platform) required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
