Summary: The Senior Manufacturing & Test Engineer is responsible for transitioning product designs into manufacturing, inclusive of design and process reviews between the product development and the manufacturing teams. It is also responsible for leading new manufacturing projects in support of product development (NPI), develop and implement the manufacturing and test strategy by leading a team of technical resources at the manufacturing sites, such as Contract manufacturers, internal factories and/or value-added centers. Product technical support and change management (ECO) during the life of the product.Salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.Location: Carlsbad, CA - Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).Primary Responsibilities: Serves as the point of communication for technical, manufacturing and test related topics.Partner closely with R&D and Engineering to ensure design for excellence DFx.Collaborate and support the product introduction launch process in the manufacturing sites.Lead the development and implementation of the manufacturing and test strategies for new and existing products.Point of escalation and owner of technical issues reported by the manufacturing sites.Ensure all product specifications and related work instructions are accurate, up to date and in-line with the latest engineering requirements.
