Join our team at PRCO Services as Janitorial floor staff at a VA Healthcare Facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Veterans, Patients, and Staff.

Job Overview: As a Janitorial Staff member, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards. This includes cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms after exams, common areas, and restrooms, as well as handling waste disposal and replenishing supplies as needed. There will be a morning and afternoon/evening shift available. Hours of operation will be from 7:00 am-11:59 pm with occasional overnight quarterly floor service.

Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms- Handle waste disposal in accordance with facility guidelines- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner- Keep a detailed record of areas cleaned and services provided along with any deficiencies- Strip, Scrub, Seal, and Wax floors as needed or on a quarterly basis

Requirements:- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work required, experience in a medical setting is a plus- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Must be able to pass a VA background check- Must be a US Citizen- Hold a Bloodborne Pathogen and Exam Room training certification or have the ability to obtain the certifications before your start date.
