What you'll be doing? As a Sr. Accountant, you will perform a variety of duties as outlined below and work with the team to improve processes and internal controls. To accomplish this, you bring a thoughtful and consultative approach to the job.

In this role, you will: Enter journal entries as appropriate. Manage aged receivables and payables Participate in month and year-end processes and reconciliations Create invoices based on contracts and timesheets Assist in the collection of data and file State and Local taxes Participate in the financial audit Provide merger and acquisition support Manage compliance issues for the business to ensure we’re adequately registered and reporting inall jurisdictions where we do business Assist in complex calculations such as goodwill impairment and equity compensation Provide back-up support to payroll Document processes and procedures Collaborate with business partners in multiple offices to maintain consistent and accurate financial information Other duties as assigned

We want you to have: B.S. in Accounting or Finance CPA certification Foundational GAAP knowledge 3 years minimum in a Sr. Accountant role 2 years of payroll experience Experience in compliance requirements and reporting Advanced Google sheet/excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-ifs, etc. Experience in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills A kind and collaborative attitude It would be a bonus if you had: Experience working in a professional services environment Experience in a rapidly growing, diverse organization Intacct/Sage experience M&A due diligence experience Fluent in Spanish We’re big believers in empowering our team to do their best work by offering: High integrity, values-driven Executive Leadership Team Competitive salary Competitive time-off plans Wellness Program Training and development programs Daily catered lunch Partnerships with interesting and engaging clients who align with our values Fun and collaborative work environment with a focus on growth For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this contract position is $45/hr to $70/hr.
