Global Strategic Sourcing Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic team. The Sourcing Manager will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and components essential to our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
Identify potential suppliers through market research, networking, and industry contacts.
Evaluate suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to optimize pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Develop and maintain supplier contracts, agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or deviations from contractual obligations.
Supply Chain Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and logistics, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
Identify opportunities for supply chain optimization, including cost reduction initiatives, alternative sourcing options, and risk mitigation strategies.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and efficiency.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as raw material shortages, price fluctuations, geopolitical instability, and regulatory changes.
Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity in the face of disruptions.
Compliance and Sustainability:
Ensure supplier compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO, REACH, EPA).
Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, including the adoption of eco-friendly materials, ethical sourcing practices, and carbon footprint reduction efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the agrichemical or agricultural industry.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
Proficiency in supplier evaluation, risk management, and supply chain optimization.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and sustainability standards relevant to the agrichemical industry.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
