About the Role:

The Manager, Design Operations role requires the candidate to be highly skilled and experienced in strategic operations and able to visualize and implement efficient operating processes. The candidate should have a process-oriented mindset, demonstrate precise attention to detail, and communicate effectively. The candidate should have knowledge of Agile Methodologies and be able to define and communicate an end-to-end project management lifecycle. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to develop inter-team relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills, and build trust through consistent, timely, and effective results. Candidates with prior experience in Project Management or operations management roles in EdTech are highly preferred.

This candidate will also play a pivotal role in aligning operational initiatives with overall business goals, ensuring seamless coordination between functions within the Global Design Team.



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations team for Global design and implement innovative solutions to automate processes.
  • Develop and implement the strategic project financial operational plans in alignment with the overall department strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership of the department and cross functional teams to define and refine department level objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance targets.
  • Design and implement operational processes, systems, and initiatives that drive efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan, manage and optimize the resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and to meet operational goals.
  • Oversee risk management activities and develop contingency plans to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity for Design operations
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of operational workflows and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders of various support teams, including department heads, to ensure alignment and collaboration in achieving operational objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the team by encouraging creative thinking and proposing new ideas to enhance productivity.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team leads and create a positive and high-performing work environment.

  • 6-8 years of e-learning/ed-tech work experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapidly evolving business
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel/Airtable and Wrike or other project management tools.


Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • PMP or Basic Project Management (Advanced certification will be preferred)
