Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing & Merchandising Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing fabrics and materials essential for our product offerings, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers of fabrics, materials & Bags suitable for our product range.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovations.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery times, and customer feedback.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials to support production schedules.
  • Monitor and analyze fabric and material costs to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop product assortments that align with market demands and brand strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, and supplier information.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience 5 years in sourcing and merchandising within the apparel or fashion industry, specifically with fabrics and materials.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
