DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
We are currently seeking a Director of Operations with a robust background and expertise in the gaming industry, particularly in slots. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, direction, and management of Facilities, Beverage, Slots, and Table Games at our property, ensuring exceptional guest service both internally and externally.

Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
Responsible for planning, communicating and implementing procedures for the overall efficient operation of areas of responsibilities.
Performs budget oversight for responsible departments and develops strategic plans.
Reviews staffing levels to optimum levels of employment and department profitability.
Actively participates in the property executive management staff.
Responsible for assuring the departments under span of control comply with all state/federal regulations, company policies and alcohol controls.
Delegate authority and assign responsibility as needed.
Establishes standards of performance to emphasize quality, teamwork and guest services across and in all departments.
Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, policies and marketing plans.
Produce various oral and written reports as requested.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
Complete all government reporting.
Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
Communicates pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members that is important to the operation of the casino.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Ensure satisfaction to guests.
Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class A license.
Five to seven years of experience in managing and supervising in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry inclusive of line and exempt level employees in the functional areas of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and Transportation or Valet preferred.
Gaming experience is preferred.
