Director of Case Management
Location: Marquette, MI (Onsite)
Our client is looking for a Director of Case Management in Marquette, MI (onsite). This pivotal role involves developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards in alignment with the organization's clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Key responsibilities include planning and monitoring staffing activities, such as hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Additionally, the role requires preparing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding and coordinating internal and external audits. The Director will also be tasked with fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and development and integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Goal Setting and Implementation: Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards in alignment with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical objectives of the organization.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Staffing Management: Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.
  • Professional Growth: Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Evidence-Based Practices: Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or another healthcare-related field.
  • Michigan RN license.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
  • 4 years of management experience.
  • 2 years of case management experience.

This role is essential for ensuring that departmental operations align with organizational objectives while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
