Qualified candidate would possess an active Florida Adjuster's License and will have the ability to work remotely

  • Responsible for handling a pending of 70 - 90 Auto Liability, Physical Damage, and minor Bodily Injury claims from inception to close
  • Determine liability, negotiate settlements, and manage claims with varying degrees of complexity and exposure.
  • Interact with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other parties to gather relevant claim information.
  • Apply policy knowledge to claim handling processes and make determinations according to the state law and regulations.
  • Control expenses and adhere to company reserving philosophy by maintaining proper reserves on all pending claims/potential exposures.
  • Utilize claims handling software, conduct virtual or in-person inspections when necessary, and maintain accurate claims documentation.
  • Provide timely updates to all stakeholders and ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 7+ years of Auto Liability claims handling experience.
  • Active FL license required.
  • Bachelors degree highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary/Benefits:
