Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Claims Manager to join our team. As a Technical Claims Manager, you will be responsible for handling complex claims related to excess liability, commercial, and auto insurance. Your primary focus will be on investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims in a timely and effective manner, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate complex claims related to excess liability, commercial, and auto insurance
- Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to achieve optimal results
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, adjusters, and defense counsel, to ensure seamless claim resolution
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims handling
- Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and brokers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as insurance, law, or business
- 6+ years of experience in claims handling, with a focus on excess liability, commercial, and auto insurance
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex claims and achieving optimal results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
