Lead all electrical systems initiatives, ensuring our products are safe, effective and secure and delivered on time and on budget. Define and design the system architecture for the electronics in our ultrasound neurotechnology platform. Develop and implement printed circuit board (PCB) designs, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements for scalability and reliability. Lead the initial bringup, testing, and characterization of the overall electronic system, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. Work closely with the Digital Systems Lead to implement, integrate and test embedded systems and FPGAs into our system. Work closely with other engineering disciplines and scientific teams to ensure cohesive integration and alignment across all project facets. Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in electronic product design, with some experience in medical devices or high-reliability applications. Extensive experience in PCB design software and a strong understanding of best practices in PCB layout and manufacturing. Strong understanding of system architecture principles, including hardware-software integration and signal processing. Demonstrated ability to gather, define, and manage technical requirements in complex engineering projects. Expertise in bringup, testing, and characterization methodologies for electronic systems, including scaling to manufacturing and CM bringup. Experience in FPGA development, including Verilog/VHDL programming and debugging. Experience in developing and integrating embedded systems, with programming skills in C/C++. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions. Proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
