Playing a key role in the mentorship of junior staff through structured mentoring, work assignment and technical review. LI-JR1 LI-HYBRID Employment Type Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable (within 18 months of hire, promotion, or transfer). 5 years of related experience in the water / wastewater industry. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and essential functions of the position. These duties may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional, directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications At least five years of experience in civil engineering design. Experience presenting technical concepts to municipal clients through written reports and presentations. Basic understanding of the design process (i.e., conceptual design through construction phase engineering)
