Job Title: Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

Epstein is a leading Architecture, Engineering and Construction firm with a rich history of delivering innovative solutions. Our team is seeking a licensed Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our dynamic group of professionals.

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong technical leader with project management experience, including schedule, budget, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of practical experience in wastewater treatment facility design and proven success as a leader on projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design water/wastewater projects, including wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and studies of wastewater and water systems.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with clients, government agencies, utility providers, or other outside entities.
  • Identify applicable codes, standards, or other design requirements.
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-15 years of successful project engineering experience in the design of wastewater facilities.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Expertise in engineering systems and related design principles.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes and regulations related to wastewater treatment and environmental protection, including IBC and ACI.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analysis methods.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.
  • Considerable experience in dealing with clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Experience with REVIT, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools.
