Reviews business needs identified by management, populates new business acquisition data systems by entering campaign information into the system in a timely manner for use in improving customer relations and strategic and tactical decision-making. Reviews the development and improvement of databases. Oversees training and development activities. Coaches, mentors, advises and develops and delivers training to using the acquire new business process by identifying needed knowledge, skills and abilities from lessons learned, historical data and management/customer requests, researching and writing material (e.g., student and instructor aids) per established design procedures, piloting prototypes, reviewing evaluations and feedback, revising as needed, providing final product, and gathering and providing metrics for the purpose of ensuring use of established and agreed to processes and increasing the win rate. Collects Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs) from various programs and gives them to CPAR focal for input into database. Consults with Finance organization, applicable programs in order to come up with database requirements. Provides consultant-level direction in the proposal development process to the Capture Team Leaders and proposal teams. Leads large, complex proposal teams. Develops creative, innovative approaches to meet proposal development requirements. Mentors new business Capture Team Leaders, proposal managers, team members and lower level employees. Leads teams in strategy development and serves as the primary consultant and external representative for the organization on companywide programs, teams and committees.
Job Description:
Position is required to manage multiple aerospace projects simultaneously, working with a high sense of urgency and diplomacy in a highly dynamic environment.Statement of work includes leading key initiatives as prime focal for the organization, while leveraging the customer’s resources to continually develop and deepen the customer relationship.
Prepares proposals, project documents, and metrics as needed, including budgets
Ensures resources are available and efficiently allocated to ensure high quality, successful project development and execution
Assists the team with resolving issues as they arise during project development and delivery
Ensures progress to plan on all projects, providing clear visibility and status to management
Monitors and controls financial performance (budget) for each project
Serves as the main point of contact for events and project requests for our key customers
Creates, maintains, and advances internal and external stakeholder relationships to build trust and strong partnerships
Drives integration across different organizations, developing a clear understanding of the client’s business goals to execute the strategy, working with external customers and multiple business units
Develops and manages communication tools, metrics, and reports, including executive business strategy and initiative presentations, to support enhanced stakeholder awareness
Strives for the highest levels of service quality to ensure top-level customer satisfaction
Technology and tools
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Minimum five years diverse and successful Project Management experience
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and technical skills
• Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
• Eight years diverse and successful Program/Project Management experience
• Seasoned technical customer support professional
• Familiarity with The Boeing Company
• Expertise with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project and experience with SharePoint applications.
