Our North America division, KTNA, is current seeking a qualified, dynamic, and resourceful

HR Officer

to support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. This role will support important functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits. At Trèves / KTNA, we understand that our business thrives when our employees thrive, and it begins with hiring the right human resources team.

This position is located at our manufacturing plant in

Hollywood, AL . Due to the nature of our industry and business,

this will be a primarily on-site role.

Objectives:Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operationsParticipate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirementsAssist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programsSuggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and companyEnsure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary

Responsibilities:Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experienceHandle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and complianceProvide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations mattersBe the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changesAssist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development

Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven success working in an HR departmentKnowledge of general HR policies and proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awarenessAptitude for problem-solving and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentHRIS experience and the ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

Preferred skills and qualificationsCollege degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related disciplineExperience in a manufacturing / automotive environmentResourceful mindset and strong attention to detailKnowledge of national and/or local employment laws and regulations
