Senior Process Engineer to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Tucson office.
We are seeking someone with a mineral processing and hydrometallurgy background with experience in studies, construction, commissioning and operations.
About the role
Leading process design during studies, basic and detailed engineering project phases
Provide technical support of process design work including calculations, drawings and testwork
Budget and resource forecast management for the process study scope
Interface with other engineering disciplines to deliver best practice process design
Liaise and contribute to the Global Ausenco Process Team
Expected to stay abreast of latest process technology developments
Design innovation / lean thinking into process designs
Represent Ausenco’s Corporate image (marketing and conferences)
Demonstrate leadership in industry safety protocols
About You
At least 10 years of mineral processing experience with base metal and precious metal, preferably with proven field experience (construction, commissioning and/or operations)
Experience with EPCM studies and projects and a minimum of 5 years in a consulting engineering capacity
Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design activities
Leadership abilities including project management skills, lead design role capability and supervisory skills
International experience will be favoured
Demonstrated capacity to align with Ausenco’s corporate culture and Client base business cultures
Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
