Controls Engineer

Description:
This role will be in support of the entire factory that sports Fanuc robots, Allen Bradley robots, Glasstech furnaces, Casso Solar ovens, presses, Bando cutting lines, conveyors, Cognex vision systems, homemade vision systems, and different kinds of inspection systems from 3rd party developers.
This engineer will:
+ Designing and overseeing the build of control panels required for projects
+ Creating control programs
+ Integration and commissioning in house
In total, this position is 25% design, 25% project engineering 50% programming
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelors is not required in lieu of relevant experience; will look at entry level electrical engineering degrees
+ experience programming and designing automated equipment
+ working with industrial control systems
+ Allen Bradley PLCs: PLC-5 and RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000
+ Allen Bradley motion control: Kinetix and Powerflex AC drives
+ FactoryTalk View
+ reading and creating electrical drawings
+ AutoCAD or an equivalent drafting software package
+ Ability to work in compliance with all safety local rules and regulations to provide and support a safe working environment
