Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department across multiple locations.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations between locations.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Monitor and report on variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial data integrity.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules as needed.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting software or upgrades, ensuring smooth integration.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in Blackline a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
