Sr. Accountant must have a good working knowledge of the company’s business, USGAAP, relevant tax implications and financial analysis skills. Sr. Accountant should also possess strong IT skills, such as the MS Excel, the ERP system and other accounting related applications and software, be detail-oriented, highly organized and accurate, and able to work with little to no supervision and meet the due dates. Responding to other departments’ request is also essential.

Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Assisting the AM book closing and preparing accurate financial reports in a timely manner. • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts. • Performing AM and HQ consolidation process (the DIVA system entries). • Preparing necessary closing journal entries and work papers for closing and IPP projects. • Performing bank reconciliation for all companies. • Assisting to maintain fixed asset schedule • Assisting with annual external EY audit preparations, tax return PBC and HQ internal audit. • Assisting with investigation and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance. • Contributing to the implementation of the new accounting systems (ERP) and procedures. • Performing other accounting duties assigned by the manager and management.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Expected Hours of Work Days and hours of work are established between the employee and the supervisor.

Travel Minimum business travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in accounting • Knowledge of the USGAAP • + 3years of GL accounting related work experience

Preferred Education and Experience • Licensed US CPA or equivalent • CPA firm experience • IPP and or partnership accounting and taxation

Additional Eligibility Qualifications • Japanese skill is a plus but not required

SALARY: $90-95K

HOURS: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
