General Responsibilities: Maintain and oversee the general ledger functions of the organization, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes. Manage and oversee the preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, and documentation. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed. Develop processes, drive continuous improvement, coordinate requirements upstream and downstream in the organization. Assist with ensuring compliance with internal control guidelines. Assist with external audit requests. Enter vendor information. Financial variance analysis. Maintain fixed assets and depreciation records. Assist management with ad-hoc requests, including special projects. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Required Education: BBA or BS in Accounting. Required Experience: 4+ years of professional experience (public accounting experience is a plus). Thorough knowledge of GAAP. Experience with an ERP system (BST preferable). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with multi-company processing preferred. Must be familiar with full cycle accounting. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, without losing attention to detail. Requires initiative based on familiarity with the organization and accounting practices and procedures.
