Streamline the reconciliation of the general ledger, banks, and credit cards, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Perform monthly closings, financial analyses, and other projects as needed. Play a crucial role on the accounting team by providing guidance and expertise whenever required. Duties: Draft, edit, and compile financial data analysis for the preparation of company financial reporting requirements. Perform and maintain monthly close reports and related journal entries. Monitor fixed asset activity in detail in excel spreadsheet with graphs and charts for executive overviews. Meeting several high-priority, conflicting deadlines for various projects and reports. Generate month-end depreciation and amortization entries. Review the general ledger for discrepancies and/or entry errors, making necessary corrections. Oversee daily reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Reconcile various corporate balance sheet accounts, addressing any discrepancies. Generate and present comprehensive internal management reports on a monthly basis. Reconcile Credit card and review activity and coding for appropriateness. Perform financial analysis and answer questions regarding variances. Support with related Party/Affiliates accounting to include Sales Tax and other compliance reporting matters. Assist with special projects as requested and support other team members with financial inquiries. Requirements: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of advanced accounting experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries. Extensive sales tax and income tax experience. Experience with NAV or a similar construction ERP system. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Background in corporate accounting and general ledger management. Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. CPA is a big plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
