Job TitleField Service Engineer - DXR/IGT (Orange County/South Bay, CA)Job DescriptionField Service Engineer - DXR/IGT (Orange County/South Bay, CA)This position will support our clients in the Orange County and South Bay, California areas to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain our diagnostic x-ray and image-guided therapy equipment.Your role:Assist in service repair, preventative maintenance, and field change orders/installations for our diagnostic x-ray and image-guided therapy equipment.Identification and resolution of customer issues, providing the customer with the appropriate communication and involving appropriate Service and Sales PersonnelDefines problems: Collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Has the ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variablesYou're the right fit if: Located in or near the Greater Los Angeles area.BSEE/BSEET preferred, or two-year formal education combined with appropriate high tech related experience5+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting diagnostic x-ray and image-guided therapy equipment including cath lab.Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical and networking theory to install, diagnose and repair equipment including ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawingsYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Field Service positionHow we work togetherWe believe that we are better together than apart. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive plan, field service incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.
