Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, located in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a full time Team Coordinator, Quality Services.

Position Overview
  • Full time: 40 hours per week
  • Education: BSN
  • Experience: 3 years of clinical experience
  • 3 years Quality related work experience
  • Previous Leadership experience


The Team Coordinator assumes responsibility, accountability, provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area. Facilitates staff management in a multi skilled, multi functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management/monitoring of resource utilization. Provide project management and facilitation, as well as, clinical oversight and support for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Provide consultation and education within the division and across the System in the area of Performance Improvement and/or Peer Review. Assist in maintaining liaison with external agencies in the area of quality, peer review, and accreditation surveys/inspections.

Job Summary

For Sentara Health Plans - In lieu of RN, MBA or other healthcare related Masters degrees.

Qualifications:

N-4YR - RN-Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)

Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
