This is project-based work with an estimated project duration of 2-3 months We have an upcoming need for several Mortgage Servicing Specialists to provide loan reviews for one of our financial services clients. You will be responsible for auditing and testing, adhering to various loan servicing requirements, best practices, as well as applicable federal, state and consumer laws and regulations. Specifically, you will be focused on collections, loss mitigation, and default management. Responsibilities: Apply mortgage servicing regulations, including Federal, State and agency specific guidelines to loan level analysis. Conduct loan level reviews to evaluate adherence to servicing and regulatory requirements. Form intelligent decisions to identify deficiencies through a detailed and focused review of servicing documentation and records. Produce timely and accurate results in an independent work environment. Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of mortgage servicing or servicing compliance related experience, specifically focused on collections, loss mitigation, and default management. Bachelors degree in finance or business administration a plus. Knowledge of servicing areas including cash management, escrow management, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, investor accounting and claims administration. Working knowledge of servicing systems such as MSP, FISERV, LPS Desktop, etc., experience with Salesforce or ACES a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated experience with critical thinking, analyzing, interpreting and researching information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience communicating with all levels of management. Ability to work professionally, independently, and as part of a team servicing an external client. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality. This is a 100% remote work position requiring a home office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate home environment noise. Requires sitting/standing at a desk for extended periods of time; use of phone and virtual meetings; and frequent, thoughtful, and professional verbal communications with others.
