The work we do: Growth Strategy and Implementation Large Scale Transformation MandA, Carve-out and Post-Merger Integration Operations Merchandising and Assortment Optimization Interim Leadership We are seeking: An ideal Summer Consultant background includes functional expertise and a demonstrated interest in consumer and/or retail sectors. Consulting experience is valued (but not necessary) Candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, intellectual curiosity and a wide range of passions and backgrounds Individuals who demonstrate adaptability to new assignments, systems, and tools, possess the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain a strong sense of humor The Internship Experience: Our mission is to provide our interns with a glimpse into what it's like to be a CRG Consultant while building and strengthening a consulting toolkit to set interns up for long term career success. CRG Interns: Receive Training: 1 Week of onboarding bootcamp and training to develop quantitative and qualitative skills Experience Client Projects: Interns spend the bulk of their summer collaborating with CRG consulting teams on high-impact projects, while getting exposure to clients and senior leadership Gain Mentorship: CRG has an apprenticeship model on project teams alongside 1-on-1 coaching through the summer with a mentor Develop and Expand Network: Interns participate in events during the summer to foster networking and engagement within CRG and greater AandM Candidate Qualifications: Studying for an Undergraduate degree from a top university Relevant experience, Consumer or Retail-related business or consulting in a professional services firm environment preferred / or corporate positions with a financial and operational focus Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel Strong technical acumen and comfortable working with complex data sets Attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex analysis and identify implications Creative problem solving, ability to develop new tools, methodologies and approaches Exposure to / experience with proposal development, strong commercial instincts and interest Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills Open to /- 50% travel M-F The Intern Salary is a monthly base of $8,333.33.
