Position Summary

Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA), a division of CVS Health, is seeking an experienced Sales Support Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to our sales organization through data-driven insights, reporting, and sales process optimization. Additionally, you will manage the request for proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI), and request for quotation (RFQ) processes to support new and existing business sales. As a Sales Support Consultant, you'll manage the RFP/RFI/RFQ processes to support new and existing business sales. You will work in the Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA) Wholesale business unit and be essential in working with Sales Executives, Account Managers, Underwriting, and network informatics teams to support retaining existing business and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze strategic capabilities match for ASA and effectively communicate conclusions to articulate a value proposition to sales executives/managers.

- Utilize internal business information systems to design, develop, and produce professional sales exhibits such as GeoAccess reports, Disruption Analysis, Discount Analysis, Claim Re-pricings, and others.

- Assist in developing and executing customer sales strategies.

- Work independently on regular analytics requests, create new deliverables as client needs develop or new strategic opportunities arise.

- Manage multiple prospects and sales support activities at various sales process stages by following procedures for RFP follow-up, responding to additional questions, clarifying original responses, and preparing financial exhibits/documents and assumptions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

- Take ownership of overall proposal submissions, coordinate responses, and facilitate completion of sales exhibits.

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare and/or sales, such as product/process/systems knowledge, underwriting, sales support, account management, client services/support, and RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.

- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to modify delivery based on the audience.

- Demonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to work on multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize work.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, modeling, and pivot tables. (Access is desirable).

- Proficient skills in data analysis

- Must be located within Central Standard Time or Eastern Standard Time

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Health Informatics, or a related field is preferred.

- Proficient skills in data modeling, reporting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) are a plus.

- Knowledge of sales processes, claims processing, and third-party administrators (TPAs) is preferred.

- Familiarity with data governance principles and project management methodologies is a plus.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$19.52 - $42.91

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
