Senior Financial Analyst We are partnering with an agricultural company in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will utilize their strong FP&A knowledge to provide financial insights and guidance to drive strategic decision-making, ensuring long-term company success. This individual will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for management.

Responsibilities

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management for designated areas, analyzing monthly variances and trends against key indicators and financial benchmarks. Provide actionable recommendations for enhancement. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly sales and balance sheet projections, collaborating with regional finance teams to understand current forecasts and providing summary analytics to highlight variances for management. Engage with operational units to identify key opportunities and risks, incorporating these insights into forecast results. Oversee the monthly and quarterly budget-to-actual variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and preparing summary reports for management review and Board presentations. Support the preparation of various presentations and reporting packages for both internal and external audiences, including management, the Board, customers, and investors. Manage all aspects of capital expenditure reporting and tracking. Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis as needed. Act as a cross-functional business partner, leveraging financial expertise to add value and influence decision-making across departments. Maintain current knowledge of business and market conditions through collaboration with FP&A team and other resources. Ensure reporting integrity by understanding underlying data. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Economics is required. 4+ years of financial planning or related analytical fields experience, preferably in the financial planning industry/service firm. Knowledge of the interrelationships among the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. Experience with reporting tools and ERP systems, SAP experience is desired or other financial planning tools. Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and Excel.
