Detailed Job Description:

Core team member for Operations Product Team(s) from pre-production build through product last ship

Contribute to analysis of product designs per DFx criterion (Design-For-Manufacturability, Design-For-Test, Design-For-Assembly)

Develop quality control plans for manufacturing in collaboration with Design Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering

Drive continuous improvement of yields at relevant logical system and/or PCBA test operations

Review and approve all product specifications prior to ECO release

Manage all ECO cut-in / phase in processes for smooth integration of product changes

Conduct First-Article Inspections (FAI) on new products and revisions

Support Material Review Board (MRB) in dispositioning Non-Conforming products

Monitor and react to quality and reliability excursions throughout product life cycle

Lead second-sourcing qualification activities at the component level

Design fixtures and tooling to enhance manufacturing productivity & efficiency

Qualifications: Required:

7-10 years experience in design/manufacturing/testing of server products in a global environment

Knowledge of troubleshooting and debug methodologies on server products

Experience/Knowledge in printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing and test process

Understanding of X86 system level architecture including memory and I/O subsystems

Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired:

Knowledge in DFx methodologies

Basic understanding of programming languages, SQL

Experience in a matrix environment

Analytical skills

Data-driven decision-making and results orientation

Ability to travel between 10-25% of the time

Education and Language Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering is a MUST

Proficient in English (read, write, listen, speak), and good command of Mandarin (listen, speak)
