Work with sales and marketing team to identify additional sales opportunities by making store visits, attend trade shows, designing and conducting product knowledge seminars, and pursuing competitor and retail intelligence. Analyze and utilize POS, inventory, 3rd Party and other data to make recommendations that will drive sales opportunities. Work closely with VP's & management team for special projects. Lead the OMNI channel experience by integrating .com with Brick & Mortar.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Regular attendance and punctuality requiredCollect & Report Account & Competitive Retail'sConduct stores visits to ensure merchandising standards, monitor and identify competitive activity, do pricing surveys, access POS performances, and generally collect information to assess performance against sales goals and benchmarksIdentify Sales Opportunities & Dept expansion opportunitiesIdentify Cost Savings opportunitiesWork with analysts to collect and analyze POS, financial, and other information for the purpose of evaluating results and/or identifying problems/opportunitiesReview and evaluate Activant/Nielsen/Other data with analysts. Present data quarterly/as needed to customers. Analyze and make recommendations based on purchased data such as Activant and Nielsen to drive salesEvaluate and analyze data, financial data, and competitive knowledge to help create market share assumptionsWork with analysts on market share preparationAdminister and monitor pricing and program implementation and compliance in accordance with agreements between Woodstream and customerSupport development of proposals, presentations, and recommendations in conjunction with semi-annual or annual modular reviewsCoordinate and develop proposals/presentations and make recommendations in conjunction with reviews. Make recommendations for pitches based on competitive environment and POG analysisManage and resolve product and service problems that ariseResolve pricing, inventory, and any interruptions in serviceAttending forecasting meetings and ensure promotion inventories are accounted for as well as regular inventory planningAttend forecasting meetings and make account recommendationsEvaluate promotions and report resultsExecute paperwork, forms, and requests to ensure on time product delivery, open communication between Woodstream and customerCreate and present product knowledge (including but not limited to service organizations, store groups, and in-store personalIdentify benchmark packaging, graphics, secondaries of competitors and non-competitive categories and share with marketingIdentify and help assure balance between inventory, POS, and orders.
