Location: MA Country: MA Key Responsibilities Applies the credit management rules and ensures agents and cash sales are accounted and collected to protect the company’s cash and revenue from sales. The job holder handles duties within the framework of responsibilities and boundaries identified with this role and in accordance with standard practices. Consults with the “Revenue Controller” on any non-routine action prior to execution; all duties shall be performed through proper channels and in compliance with adopted policies and procedures. Maintains a list of Bank Guarantees received from all Local Agents. Forwards reminders for the renewal of the Bank Guarantee to all local agents, one month before the expiry date and follows up. Conducts accounts analysis of local agents. Imports agents invoices into Sage on a fortnightly basis. Ensures timely receipt of payments from Local Agents. Posts amounts received from Agents to their accounts in Sage. Realizes daily top-ups of agents’ accounts. Prepares invoices for various customers. Prepares Airports Tax applications on their due date. Posts cash collections in Sage and reconciles Cash Sales Clearing. Follows up and monitors Group sales. Ensures timely receipt of payments from MAC sales agent. Monitors Agents’ Accounts and sends alerts for overdue accounts. Produces bank reconciliation statements of cash bank accounts. Ensures timely receipt of the EBT from all concerned stations. Realizes all EBT treatment and accounting on Sage. Controls the EBT payments by handlers. Performs any other responsibilities as instructed by the line manager. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Professional qualification as an Accountant is preferred. Capable of using technology systems and tools, mainly finance-related ones. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet/Web Search. Fluent in French and English. Moroccan nationality is a must. Work Experience At least 1-2 years of experience in a computerized accounting environment is essential; experience working with an airline is an added advantage. Strong math and numerical reasoning ability with high accuracy are mandatory. Familiarity with formalities and prerequisites associated with internal and external audits. Very good exposure to financial models and new technologies in the industry. Capable of meeting deadlines without compromising quality. Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying irregularities, and recommending corrective measures. High attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to procedures are a must. Cost-oriented with effective negotiation and problem-solving skills. Capable of working long hours and under pressure.
