Client Risk Officer

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be part of the Risk Management area that is responsible for Front Office risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk and Internal Controls. As part of the Risk Management area, you will work with multinational team, interacting with people in different locations (from the Bank's offices in Zurich, Miami, So Paulo, Lisbon and London) and different areas (from Client Facing to ITapplications).
In a small bank (in Zurich) and part of a big group, you will have the opportunity to learn about different topics and contribute with immediate impact to the Bank.
Key responsibilities include:
•Preparing analysis, executing controls and reporting indicators related to clients' investments' suitability and appropriateness
•Analysing different types of financial instruments and financial operations
•Monitoring the portfolios' performance calculation process and results
•Testing and implementing quality assurance processes for the client facing systems
•Reporting to the Senior Management
•Taking part in the Bank's projects
. Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules and regulations, as well as Itau's related policies and procedures.
Typical activities and responsibilities will include: •Collaborate with other areas to guarantee a robust suitability process, ensuring that the entire advisory flow is compliant with regulatory guidelines, protecting both clients and the bank;
•Analyse the impact of stressed scenarios on clients' portfolio and credit positions;
•Manage the risk and exposure of clients' investments in custody in Zurich and Miami offices of the Bank
•Generate and evaluate suitability and risk reports, ensuring data accuracy, breaches resolution/ escalations and performing ad-hoc reporting/projects.
•Implement and execute quality assurance processes for the area's processes, including understanding the front to back and back to front flows, the relevant IT applications
•Approve new products, evaluate their risks and possible impacts on client's positions;
•Monitor markets in real time and communicate potential disruptions to bankers and advisors.
Education •Bachelor in Economics, BusinessAdministration, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related
Work Experience •Min. 4 years of relevant work experience
•Experience with financial instruments and risk management
