Requirements

Assistant To Regional Service Supervisor

Overall hands-on supervision and administration of service departments, including any assistant in complete responsibility of service staff. Ensuring prime physical condition of the community, prompt quality service request responses and market-ready apartments. Enforcing adherence to environmental and OSHA regulation policies and procedures. Statistical reporting and budget responsibilities.

SERVICES

  • Supervise the following service employees: service technicians, carpenters, and regional tradesmen when in his/her area, in conformance with the HazCom Program, the Respiratory Protection Program, the Emergency Response Plan, the O&M Plans for Lead, Asbestos, Mold and Meth, and the Asbestos Work Practice Manual.
  • Supervise all service on-site operations including, but not limited to regular service, turnover service, vehicles, equipment, and communication in conformance with the HazCom Program, the Respiratory Protection Program, the Emergency Response Plan, the O&M Plans for Lead, Asbestos, Mold and Meth, and the Asbestos Work Practice Manual.
  • Provide quality control.
  • Review and make suggestions on major equipment acquisitions.
  • Review new products as well as service and turnover procedures.
  • Conduct any, and all communication with our customers, prospects, applicants, residents, or coworkers in a manner consistent with the Company's Customer Services Program and philosophy.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three years of building maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity. Must be EPA and CFC Certified. Required Trade Licenses include Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing.
  • In conjunction with the above, the following may be substituted or combined to meet critical requirements: Certain other supervisory/administrative experience related to apartment property management.
  • Must have a valid driver's license within the state of residency and an acceptable driving record.
  • Universal EPA or Type certified, preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel as needed.
  • Problem-solving skills: Analyzing, recognizing boundaries, following up to the closure, recognizing options/flexibility, following up to the closure, exercising good judgment, working calmly under pressure, Organizational skills, Ability to work with others, Ability to supervise and motivate.
