Lochner - learn more about usYour impact:Monitors activities of Contractors on the construction site within a discipline or multiple disciplines based on experience.Assists the Resident Engineer or Construction Manager in the coordination of activities.Perform materials coordination duties including but not limited to:Coordinate materials QA testing with RE and materials testing technicians/laboratoryOversee QA field testing of materials and materials samplingReview contractor materials submittals and evidence of inspection. Provide recommendations to RE or client/owner on acceptability of submittalsReport materials inspection and testing according to the clients requirementsMaintain project files related to materials inspection and testing. Provide daily inspection of construction activitiesTests and/or samples materialsOn larger projects, may lead a group in a specific project task. Oversee materials coordination and documentation on multiple projects. Works independently at times and may supervise observation/inspection personnel as needed.Works under the supervision of a licensed Resident Engineer, Principal or Project Manager.
