The resort features three pools, an award-winning spa with nine treatment rooms, 24-hour fitness center, signature Grapefruit Basil restaurant and Chiki Palm pool bar, 35,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, outdoor patio with a signature fire wall and fire pits, bocce ball courts, and localized experiences that reflect the resort’s brand.

Job Overview

This position shapes and executes the overall marketing strategy for the Tommy Bhama Miramonte Resort & Spa in partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing The Director of Marketing supports the organization in generating profitable revenue to increase RevPAR, market share, and brand awareness for the property. Leverages marketing programs while ensuring marketing efforts are effectively integrated within the organization. Monitors relevant Brand marketing programs, channels, platforms, and initiatives for the Resort.

Salary Range $120,000/yr - $140,000/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of the annual marketing and communications plan and budget aligned with the Resort's strategic priorities and revenue goals. Develop and oversee the execution of marketing strategies that align with property goals and positioning to achieve topline revenue. Partner with the property revenue team to make informed decisions and maximize revenue and room night goals. Partner with the Resort team leaders to drive marketing strategies for Food & Beverage, Spa and Wellness, Recreation, Weddings/Catering and Group Sales. Prepare and manage the marketing expense budget's monthly forecasting and analyze the marketing efforts' overall effectiveness. Lead weekly and monthly meetings with department heads across property and agency teams. Manage and implement tactical promotions and offers to drive incremental revenue. Oversee the management of all internal and external communications through a digital presence, including but not limited to property website, third party channels, and social media, while maintaining brand integrity. Orchestrate all property photography and video shoots. Arrange shot lists/schedules, property access, talent, etc. Support & maintain extensive property photography library. Responsible for workflow process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the function of the miramonteresort.com website. Develop and implement marketing and public relations strategies to promote revenue growth among key targeted segments and support the Resort's brand positioning and image. Develop and manage all CRM touchpoints, including outbound email marketing, guest journey, retention strategies, and new customer acquisition initiatives. Manage the web and social media infrastructure and keep content fresh and engaging while advancing functionality and design. Prepare monthly and bi-weekly marketing reports for ownership. Plan and manage print and digital advertising opportunities, both paid and unpaid. Manage the Resort's reputation in the local community via PR and local community outreach, local partners, and promotional partnership opportunities. Develop and set the annual digital marketing plan, overarching partnership, and marketing strategies to maximize hotel revenue production and align with hotel positioning. Manage the OTA strategy in collaboration with Revenue Management through monthly market reviews and media investments. Manage the strategy and agency partnership relationships with the Resort Public Relations, Digital, Brand and Social Agencies. Track campaign benchmarks and KPIs to ensure success and optimize campaigns as needed Stay on top of industry trends to ensure properties are at the cutting edge of hospitality services.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+years hotel marketing experience or the equivalent amount of industry experience; OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Refined verbal and written communication skills Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed Bachelor’s Degree (associates degree considered) in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field, or the same in experience. Must be proficient in general computer knowledge including social media platforms Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in a similar position Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in fast paced environments Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
