Job Location BSC - BMA - Boston, MA Position Type Full Time Salary Range $21.00 - $24.00 Hourly Job Shift Day Job Category Retail Description POSITION: Store Lead - Boston REPORTS TO: Market Store Manager JOB SUMMARY: Oversees receiving operations and validates status for incoming shipments. Performs and validates inventory count records. Processes sales, orders, and special orders. Ensures safety and security of the store. Maintains outstanding customer relations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists management with day-to-day operations. Oversees and coordinates receiving operations and ensures all merchandise is properly received. Monitors open back/special orders and ensures orders are filled in a timely manner. Understands Essentially The Same (ETS) requirements and ensures an ETS free inventory. In conjunction with colleagues, monitors inventory levels and counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinates store cleaning to ensure a neat and professional image. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Supervisor Responsibilities: No Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Have a minimum of 2 years retail, sales, customer service, or other related experience, strong leadership skills, and be customer-focused. Must be able to pass Military Base or Federal Building Security Clearance. Have good communication skills and be able to properly train personnel. Be familiar with military and government organizations and acronyms and have an understanding of military supply and logistics and the AbilityOne program. Individual must also have excellent computer skills. Physical Demands: Lift up to 50 lbs. Use pallet jacks and hand trucks. Work Environment: Light to moderate noise levels. Moderate to low light levels. Hazardous material. Seasonal inclement weather. All job offers from IBVI are contingent on the candidate's ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
