Responsibilities Establishes an organizational structure through which working relations, lines of accountability and responsibility and communications are clearly defined. Serves as the spiritual leader of the school community ensuring a Catholic Identity and Catholic values throughout all programs and offerings Reinforces the mission and vision of the school in all policies, procedures, and programs In collaboration with the Diocese, directs the design, implementation, and development of curriculum and ongoing accreditation Works with the School Advisory Board, parent organizations and faculty and staff to develop strategies that ensure continued success and sustainability Establishes a clear, strong and consistent policy for dealing with issues involving disciple and interactions with teachers, administration and the parent body Maintains a visible presence during the school day and at school-related liturgies, events and activities. Establishes accessible and open communication with parents (individual meetings, emails, programs and conferences) Attends School Board Meetings Participates frequently in school-sponsored parent activities Promotes parent participation in Sunday liturgies at the parish, and parish activities Collaborates with the Business Manager in formulating the school budget Works closely with the Pastor, Finance Council, School Board and Director of Education/Superintendent of Schools to ensure the school is meeting the budget.
