Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect mirrors, sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers using appropriate cleaning equipment, solutions, and disinfectants.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sterilize metal containers, sputum disposal rooms, and equipment. Distribute clean sputum cups, containers, and paper bags for waste to patients.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain grounds, cut lawns and shrubs, and clean walkways to provide a physically safe environment for pedestrians and vehicles.
- Supply Management: Assist in loading, unloading, and storing supplies, equipment, and tools at point of pick-up, delivery, or distribution.
- Record Keeping: Fill and distribute requisitioned records, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read and write English and to understand and carry out simple instructions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment by paying attention to details.
