Position Overview:

This position is for a Senior Client Services Manager I within the Aegon Global Real Assets Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) platform, with a focus on managing and reporting on the properties within the LIHTC portfolio. The Senior Client Services Manager will focus on the development, design, production and accuracy of Investor reporting, management reporting, construction and leasing reporting and watch list reporting. The manager will also need to have an operational understanding of lower tier assets which include annual operating budgets, quarterly financial statements, residual receipts analysis, year-end audited financial statements and tax returns.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Populate, produce, review, and distribute both internal and external reporting for stakeholders. This includes daily ad hoc reports, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Generate reports through internal systems, review for accuracy, make improvements as necessary, and meet deadlines per Investor demands. Oversee the creation of solutions and tools to enhance the Investor reporting process and the Investor experience. Streamline processes by crafting more efficient methods of gathering, sorting, and accessing data across the LIHTC platform. Develop, manage and implement Work Force Housing and Opportunity Fund monthly, quarterly and annual reporting per Investor needs. Manage and monitor group policies and procedures, investment partnership covenant compliance, financial statement compliance, auditor compliance, governance around Funds and internal compliance, risk, and SOX. Expected results include; timely and accurate deliverables for the Investor, data integrity, responsiveness to internal requests, and continued growth in data management and system deliverables. Review all annual tax returns and audits at investment level and fund level. Work with the Partnership accounting team to manage annual tax returns and audit process. Collect, review, solicit feedback or corrections, input into system and report to Investors all lower tier investment year-end financial data from tax returns and audits. Work with Partnership Accounting staff to ensure deliverables to Investors are timely and accurate. Tracking, verifying, reviewing, and completing all internal and external compliance/risk requests. Managing reporting budget with third party vendor. Lead the team providing daily support to current Investors across the Global Real Asset Tax Credit platform regarding property level Investor reporting. Manage, lead and support team members including hiring, training, coaching, ongoing career development, performance management, and succession planning; ensures staff demonstrates appropriate customer service demeanor. Responsible for adhering to Company’s framework of internal controls, monitoring compliance to regulatory policies and procedures. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, real estate, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. Eight years of client reporting or asset management experience. Five years of client service experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrate the ability to navigate and lead cross functional team projects. Deep financial and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proactive; act with purpose regarding internal and external investor requests. Excellent interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment. Ability to exercise independent judgment and accomplish tasks with little oversight. Proficiency using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency using reporting tools (Power BI, Business Objects, SSRS). Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree. Systems and/or data management experience.
