About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Manager, Team Lead to join our Property Casualty team in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing client relationships, developing and implementing business strategies, and driving growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Independently perform daily tasks to efficiently manage client service, including renewal marketing and placement of insurance for assigned clients, and responding to daily client service needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate team members, maintain best practices, and ensure effective use of resources. Coach and counsel team members on areas such as workflow, process, and procedure, customer service, and client consulting.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability, including identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients and insurance carriers, and negotiating contracts.
  • Quality Management: Ensure high-quality service delivery, including file audits, policy checks, and process improvements based on results.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years customer service, underwriting, or risk management experience in the insurance industry. Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
