Primary Job Function:
The function of the Front Desk Associate is to perform a wide range of administrative duties as they relate to reception and corporate administration. They will serve as the first point of contact for employees, guests, and clients and will ultimately create a memorable first impression for them.
This position has an on-site schedule as it requires regular access to the Thornburg campus to support operations that cannot be performed remotely.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone in a positive and professional manner.
- Perform daily office tasks such as, answer phone, screen calls and forward inquiries accordingly. Experience with Zoom phone is a plus.
- Monitor security cameras, lobby, and work area to determine customer flow and notify the appropriate departments of any issues.
- Help maintain workplace safety and security by following procedures and protocols in place.
- Monitoring, and maintaining guest notification system, issuing, and collecting guest badges as necessary.
- Maintains continuity among team by documenting any communication actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Writes and keeps processes and procedures of responsibilities current.
- Contributes to the overall success of the team by working collaboratively with team, staff, managers, and vendors. Understands the importance of teamwork.
- Assist as travel booking back up when necessary.
