What you'll be doing: Communicating with and serving as the clinical liaison between residents, families, nursing staff, doctors, and administrators Evaluating nurse performance, implementing changes to nursing best practices, and managing standard-of-care guidelines Developing short- and long-term staffing, procedural, and standard-of-care goals Ensuring the Resident Care Director successfully sets nursing staff schedules, manages onboarding, and trains new nursing staff Monitoring and recording expenses Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal policies and regulations
