Arcosa's Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on U.S. inland waterways. Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You'll do:

* Daily Employee reports to Supervisors and Management * Monitor and update timecards * Enter exemptions, deductions and time off * Enter Job Transfers * Process and review Historical Edits * Provide Contractor hours to agencies every Monday * Balance Payroll Registers to Kronos * Prepare daily and weekly reports for management * Maintain attendance books and point system * Track vacation * Monitor and take uniform orders * Experience writing Policy and Procedures * Setup New Suppliers * Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts * Assist with AP Holds for Plant * Assist Plant Accountant with Month-End Close as needed * Adheres to system of internal controls over financial reporting (SOX) * Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures * Performs other related duties as assigned * Cross train with Plant Accountant as backup

What You'll need:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * General knowledge of accounting * Proficient with Kronos, Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software. * Associate degree in Accounting, or related field, preferred. * At least three years of related experience preferred.
