**Description**
This position manages the operation, maintenance, staffing, budgeting and performance of the Distribution facility. They are responsible for the implementation of the strategic direction in accordance with the companys overall goals and strategies. They are responsible for site performance with emphasis on customer service and productivity. They will provide leadership to drive flawless execution, culture, and company values. This is an on the floor management position.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Assumes a strategic role in dealing with planning, administration and general management issues
* Analyze existing business processes using various methods such as gap analysis or PDCA
* Act as an internal consultant, developing short- and long-term strategies for the organization and incorporate Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices, as needed. Facilitate progress and reduce costs, both in terms of sales and workflow inefficiencies
* Coordinate and lead key projects for improvement across all levels of the organization. May supervise several teams directly or collaborate with managers to re-engineer processes.
* Establish measurable standards at the start of a project and then compare actual project results against these, regularly generating detailed update reports for management.
* Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
* Manage the relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
* Motivating, organizing, communicating values, strategies, and objectives to the team while encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
* Oversee the maintenance/facilities departments of the Distribution facility
* Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, quality and customer satisfaction
* Responsible for performance to meet or exceed customer specific expectations
* Responsible for performance to drive LEAN (Process Improvement) and meet or exceed productivity expectations by ensuring appropriate coaching and development of all assigned positions
* Responsible for performance to achieve working capital objectives through interaction with functional leaders and the customer
* Approve and execute ready initiatives
* Ensures that quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
* Flawlessly execute initiatives
* Selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling and disciplining associates while coordinating with the Human Resources Department
* Performs other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS** (**Education, Experience, & Skills required)**
**Education** - Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Skills and Ability**
* Skilled in project management
* Skilled in inventory analysis, strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task, Ability to generate creative solutions and coordinate projects, detail oriented, effective leader with solid management skills.

This position operates in an office and warehouse environment, using standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, RF scanners and printers.
