Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team at the Topeka Distribution Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean the warehouse, offices, and break rooms to meet company standards, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash cans.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Keep the grounds free from litter and debris, and remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and doorways.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, and ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Review and understand JSA's and Safe Practices, and comply with OSHA and other relevant standards.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Wear proper PPE as required by job tasks and areas.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands to perform tasks, and communicating. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
